About Me

After teaching visual art in Boston for 20 years, I recently left to pursue my own art and have found great joy and fulfillment.   I live in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, which is a thriving arts community and is surrounded by the Emerald Necklace, Frederick Law Olmstead’s beautifully designed parks and green spaces.   The surroundings provide me with constant inspiration.  I spend summers in Truro, MA which is another source of creative imagery for me.  Since I finally have the time to devote my energies to art making, I am rediscovering my inner artistic wellspring.  My wish is to communicate nature springing to life in my work, and to create visionary images that vibrate with the thrill of a new creation.  May my work bring joy, humor as well as solace to the viewer.
